Our Mission
After 5.7 million Jews were brutally murdered during the Holocaust the word saw the worst humanity was capable of : genocide. Men and women across the world were horrified at what hate could accomplish, and many swore to never again let it happen. So why is it that now genocide threatens races in Bosnia, Rwanda, and Darfur, in addition to numerous other countries? We hope that with the awareness we can raise through the internet for our English project some will be more aware of the world around them. We hope this information helps open your eyes to the atrocities of genocide to help the world-wide movement to save Darfur.

A Brief History
The Destruction of Darfur began long ago when separate groups emerged and settled in Sudan. The different groups disagree in several areas and the Christians, native tribes and Muslims often engaged in conflict. People traveled often in the Darfur region due to various famines and migrations. As a result, Darfur became an unsettled and unstable state.
